The Public Appeal
The Trustees are quite prepared to take out a loan up to a realistic amount that can be repaid out of future income.
We are approaching various local and national bodies to raise further grant monies, as well as seeking pledges of financial support from local individuals and businesses. In this connection we are appealing to you to help The Trustees maintain one of the oldest institutions of the town, and an important Grade II Listed Building.
The Trustees are committed to achieving a successful completion of the project. Nevertheless, all publicly donated funds will be accumulated in a designated account of the charity separately from funds for general purposes and, to the extent the funds are not utilised for the purposes intended, will be returned to the donors.
