In an endeavour to retain the quality and originality of Alford Craft Market it is necessary for all applicants to submit samples of their work to the committee, prior to being accepted as members. This is a protection on behalf of all craft workers to exclude the possibility of mass produced and cheap imports. Samples will be viewed for originality and that they meet our minimum standards for quality. Below are the criteria that all new applicants must meet.

• All items must be made to a good standard.
• Must involve a skill or original idea and be of your own design.
• Must contain an absolute minimum of bought in ready-to-use components.
• No computer downloaded artwork or craft kits.
• Must have any certificates relevant to your craft
