| ALFORD MANOR HOUSE YOUR HELP IS URGENTLY
NEEDED In June 1993, a small group of enthusiastic Alford Civic Trust members got together and formed the "Friends of Alford Manor House" (FOAMH). We now need to recruit new members to maintain the newly restored Manor House, and to keep up with its running costs, visitor numbers will have to be multiplied, and the House will need to be open all year round. We need more practical help. Please join us as a "FRIEND" and give some of your time. Participating in our various fund raising activities. You do not have to be a member of the ALFORD CIVIC TRUST to help us. We would be very pleased to hear from you. You can be of great assistance in any, and more, of the following ways: serving refreshments; manning the desk or cash point; escorting visitor groups around the Manor House and Gardens and helping in the shop or the garden etc. In view of the outstanding restoration of the Alford Manor House, it is important that the "Friends" now play a more important role in ensuring its future.
