The flooring is complete inside the house
The wallpaper specialist (one of the foremost in the country, who has
done work for the Victoria and Albert Museum) has seen the wallpaper in
the east end of the house and asserts that it is eighteenth century. She
wants to submit a sample for possible reproduction and use in Keats' house
in London. The wall beneath has revealed much interesting history: for example,
evidence of a fire which occurred after the wall was papered.
