keys of  Manor House are handed over to TaskersThe Keys handed over

The keys to the Manor House were handed over to Taskers of Boston by Bill Read, the chairman of the Alford Civic Trust.

Fencing was put around the grounds secure the site.

Scaffolding arrived and the first poles were put in position.

 

Manor House is closed until Easter of 2006 while restoration work is being carried out.

For many years the Craft Market has held special weekends - Spring and August Bank Holiday in the Manor House grounds. In 2005 the Market and entertainment will be in the South Market Place.
