Meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month.

ATEC has produced an excellent map of the town which has been widely used and distributed and highly commended by other organisatons. ATEC also held a classic car rally, late night shopping in 2002 December and a two-day Easter event. We have also raised a considerable sum of money towards additional Christmas street lighting.

Also in 2002, ATEC has gained recognition by the Town Council, East Lindsey District Council and Lincolnshire County Council as the official voice of the businesses of Alford.

Membership of ATEC is therefore important to all businesses for a number of reasons:

  1. To help finance future events in Alford which encourages visitors and local people into the town.
  2. To help finance the cost of gifts for the children of Alford (and surrounding areas) which are distributed at Christmastime at the late night shopping event.
  3. To finance other items which will create a more pleasant and welcoming environment which in turn will encourage more footfall through the town.
  4. To have an authoritative voice about the future of Alford.

ATEC is completely non-profit-making. It exists to promote the town’s businesses.
YOUR VIEWS AND IDEAS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

If you are interested in joining ATEC (your participation can be solely financial - by paying the annual subscription - or, hopefully, by helping to support others in organising and running events as well)
