The Park is run by the Memorial Park Trust who acquired the land in 1926 as a children’s recreational ground. Further gifts of land have seen the park grow and grants from various organisations have allowed the trust to buy new equipment. Now known as the Memorial Park, it serves as a living memorial to those who gave their lives so that we could be free.
