The Alford Craft Market August Bank Holiday Festival celebrated 40 years of the Alford Craft Market and 100 years of Crafts in Alford Town.
The weekend was a big success, with a footfall of around 2,500 in spite of bad weather on Saturday! In celebration of Alford’s relationship with crafts over the last 100 years there were demonstrations of traditional skills such as mud & stud wall construction, the art of thatching, blacksmithing, leather and saddlery, candle making and lampworking.
Workshops in tile making and wildlife crafts, great for the children, and also candle making.
